Getting My Groove Back

Our love is one of a kind, we found each other at the young ages of 20 and 19. I was a single mother to a 2 year old daughter. We had heard of each other, but didn’t know each others names and didn’t know how to reach out. I knew he was a stable person with a steady job, and all I wanted for myself and my child at the time was security, stability, and love. He just fit my description so well of what I wanted. I believe a year went by before my sister had came to me saying, “I know of this guy that you should reach out to, I feel like you guys would fit together perfectly.” So, that night I reached out to him and right when he sent me a picture of him and I finally found out this guys name, I realized that was the guy I had been looking for. I coudn’t believe how we found each other, we fell in love so fast and he took my daughter in as his own and also fell in love with her. We are now going on 6 years together with four beautiful children. We have been through so much in the 6 years we’ve been together. He helped me through a divorce with my first childs father, he proposed, we had twin daughters, we got married, we bought a house, we’ve set goals, we’ve over come very challenging times, he’s been there to hold me during the death of some one very special to me, we had our first son. We’ve truly over come so much together and no one could question our love. No matter what, we know we always have each other’s back and he is truly my best friend.
